In my unsolicited opinion as a designer, the Tag 60 doesn't hold much appeal for me personally. Then again, some people think Oysters are attractive. Like they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I find the attempt to disguise the discordant fenstration in the hulls with the swoopy paint stripes as distracting as the alien-eye-shaped windshields on the Tag 60. I prefer the Outremer a little more because it is more ordered and has a continuity the other lacks.

Say what you will about the company or the quality of the boats, I always thought Morrelli and Melvin did great service to the Gunboat line.

Every boat has a designer.
There are lines that appeal to some and not for others.
What appeals to me will not appeal to others in some things. I dont like the look of a Ferrari for example, but love the De Tomaso....

I have no attraction to Sophia Loren but love Sandra Bullock.

The lines of the TAG just hit the spot for sexiness, even though I am not keen on the steering position, yet without that placement, it would not look as sexy....

I also think the Broadblue 550 is sexy for a whole heap of different reasons...

TAG's a pretty enough boat except for that awkward-looking deck saloon - reminds me of a Portakabin hiding in a Polytunnel.
