Strictly Sail Miami

Iwalani & I are going to Strictly Sail in Miami to shop catamarans. I like the price of the Gemini 105Mc and I've seen a couple around Honolulu. My concern with the 105Mc is bridgedeck clearance (slapping). Does anyone have Gemini experience? Any recommendations for a new 36-40 cruising cat?

One other point- this is our first go 'round for serious boat shopping. What kind of questions should I be asking these reps about their respective yachts?

The only experience I had with a Gemini was having one anchor close to me a couple of years ago. It was blowing a bit and the anchorage was not too sheltered. I could not believe the banging as the bridge deck slammed!! I don't know how those inside it could stand it but I guess you get used to anything. The couple took two years off and cruised US, Gulf Coast, East Coast and Bahamas. He had no trouble selling it after two years as there seems to be a demand for this boat.
