WOW! What a ride!! I can't even imagine how fun that would be (for about 5 minutes until the pounding got to you).

Looks like you have to be *very* careful with those bows at that speed. One little dip and BAM! You're pitch poled AND airborne. Amazing footage.

They race like that all the way round the world. No flips, no pitchpoles.
But hey what would they know?

I have a hard enough time sleeping at home in a bed that doesn't jump around. But being one of the off-shift guys trying to sleep, must be damn near impossible.

You *can't* be thinking I'm being pro-mono or saying these guys don't know how to sail, right??? Come ON!

I am saying that it would be really fun to go for a ride on this wild ride and that one would have to be careful in rough seas at that speed not to overpower the boat and bury the bows (one would need skill), or the resulting pitch pole would be INSANE!

Please do lighten up and leave all that mono vs cat crap to someone else. I'm not interested in your debate.
