New Wharram design/sail plan?

It's 24ft and that's about all i know. This sail plan what do you think?

I like the rig, meaning the modified Dutch Gaff. But as to the sailplan, were it me, I'd simply put on a bigger main, add a larger jib or two, and call it good.
I get that they're likely trying to keep the mast about the same length as the boat, but in light air, they'll be hurting for square footage of canvas me thinks. Or is that not the curse of most Wharrams?
