Nahbrown, that's not my boat. I included the Soulianis YouTube link as just one example of the several cases I've seen or read about wherein this specific job has been screwed up. So you'll have to ask Kirk and Lauren at Sailing Soulianis.

that is shocking ,, i dont watch soulianis but they have my sympathies ......
i made my own , cost me £800 and weighs 140 lbs .. S/S on 20ft beam cat .
tbf, ss can be a right bugger when welding , it pulls like mad and precautions have to be taken to prevent distortion /leading to misalignment ,, but that type of experience is what you are paying big moneys for.

Yes, indeed. It's best to be careful vetting any shop or vendor that is going to do custom work. If a fabricator doesn't want to give you references of customers who've been happy with the same or very similar work, pass them by.
