Maxim catamaran

I know there were some earlier posts on Maxim catamarans and I was wondering if anyone can shed light on the minimum bridge deck clearance and is it a problem. Would love to hear from Maxim 38 owners on their opinions on whether slamming in heavy seas is a problem or not with Maxims thanks Dan
