Getting into the planning to keep my catamaran
and finish it.
It was built in basically tropical conditions. The good part about that was I could work
year round with epoxy
. The bad part was you couldn't wear protective suits and properly isolate yourself from epoxy
. I got sensitized.
To finish the interior
and rig and do a few small bits of epoxy work
, I want to locate it in cold weather
as the protective gear
and hard work keep you plenty warm.
Does anyone know of a colder place where I could spend about $200/mo to keep her on the hard
and do this work? Parking an RV right next to her too? I need to go into full production mode again if I'm going to get her finished.
Doesn't need to be a marina or boat
yard. Just need power and water
and road access. Can haul with a trailer
on a boat ramp
or crane and slings. Does not need to be a pretty setting. Industrial is fine. Should, however, not be high crime area.
Should be easy coast USA or inland USA since she's not ready to do big crossings yet, but can motor
