Hey guys,
We're in the market for a
catamaran and after looking at a Dazcat (nice, but too racey) and a Prout Escale (excellent, but will need some work), a guy at the
boat yard recommended we try and find a CSK
catamaran.
I've seen a few come up on Yachtworld and Imi
Loa was on ebay a while back (
here's the link) but does anyone have any experience with them?
I know Imi was raced hard then cruised down through
Mexico, so they're a tough design, but what else is there to know about them? I've emailed Choy Design as well to get their thoughts......
Our plans are initially to hang about the
Caribbean for a while, then maybe do the milk run back to Aus. I'm not too worried about carrying huge loads (other than supplies,
fuel and a
dinghy, what else do you need?
) but want a cruiser we can take long distance, feel comfortable in
blue water, and mooch around in quite happily at
anchor.
