kilifi boat yard, tanga yacht club,or dar es salaam yacht club all have slips.

or you could just use the 4m tides and drie out on the beach.

mombassa also has a dry dock that you can go in behind a cargo vessel.

also links to dar yc and mombassa yc will get you a surveyor!

though that part of the world is not for the faint hearted,

my comment.......dream on...lol

There's also this:
Travel Alert: Criminal activity is a problem in parts of Kenya, see the Dangers & Annoyances section for details. Following attacks on resorts in coastal areas near Somalia in September and October 2011, warnings have been put out for staying closer than 150km of the border. Find out the latest on the situation before you go with travel advisories like those from fco.gov.uk.

Travel to Kenya is way down on my list. But wait, maybe I could get a good deal on that boat. Hmmm.... Boating or dying, boating or dying. I can't make up my mind.

Kenya Schmeenya,
A quick jot down the coast and you're in SA, ready to head on up to the Caribbean, or if you're Aussie, hit the high lats over to Perth.
