Buying through The Multihull Company, good or bad

Most of the the FPs ive looked at are 230v being european, unless converted. its not so much a cheaper than aust purchase I'm after, i want to be in the Caribbean cruising by feb 17. Then I'll be heading to Mediterranean. So im just trying so save the time and hassle of the Pacific sail which I don't have time for.
Using a buyers broker an independent surveyor i feel i should be fine.
Im thinking Lavezzi40, hows your 43ftr going. Any advice?

The main guys there were sailing the Balance, up to Annapolis. I think Jeff Jones left today. I'm sure you'll hear from him soon.

If your buying in the Caribe then sailing for the Med.. why don't you buy in the Med/Europe and do the Caribe on your way home.. its a much easier sail than the W - E Atlantic crossing.. that is if you plan on sailing back to Oz..

OK now makes sense OS purchase. Mate only had the 43' Belize since Jan but we both love it. Looked at the Lavezzi 40' but found it a bit cramped in both the saloon and cabins compared to the Belize. That extra 3' plus slightly more beam make a huge difference. We're up in Pittwater and your more than welcome to come have a look and a poke around. Give me a call 0403 431 633 if you want. Cheers, Roy. ps we went FP over Leopard 44 because of bridge clearance. Belize is 90cm vs Leopards 52cm big difference to slap.

Cheers Roy i might take you up. Im down Sutherland way. Im set on FP because of the bridgedeck clearance and the 230volt. Lots of options round florida and i want to check out the southern states too.
Probably head though seuz to Thailand. Who knows.

We're also in Sutherland Shire mate. Kareela but no where nice to keep a 43' cat down this way so put up with the 1.5 hr drive each way to Careel Bay. The Cowan Creek area is pretty nice place to hang out. Seaskip sorry if I've put you off OS purchase. Should work well for what manawatuman has planned especially if he ends up sailing it back to Oz.

Yeah seaskip, i wonder too, i was informed its do able and i really keen on sailing through the suez. To be honest after 5 months in the caribbean i could go anyway. Don't plan on coming back here for couple of years and ive seen the Pacific

Btw, my work boat is moored at Cronulla marina at the moment, and they seem like a nice operation. Not too expensive for Sydney either.

Why not start from here (Australia) and head north and west?
