Brouadblue

Hello everyone. We have finally sold up our life in Australia and have arrived in the uk ready to start the next stage of our adventure. Deciding on a boat :-)

We are seriously looking at a broadblue Uk 435. Or a secondhand manta 42 from the US. Does anyone have an opinion on these cats?

We will be mooring in the uk and living aboard.

Many thanks

Dave and Lisa.

Hi, Dave and Lisa. Welcome to CF.

There are a number of threads in our archives on Broadblue cats. Click on the link in my signature line. You get a CF-specific Google search engine. Type in "Broadblue" and you'll have quite a bit of reading. Best wises finding your "dream boat".

Also lots of discussions on Mantas in the Forum here.

BTW this brokerage seems to always have Mantas and they are in Sarasota Fla where they were built so they probably know alot about these boats.
Crown International Yacht Sales (Sarasota, FL)
Interesting to note that they list 7 boats in their inventory and 5 are Mantas and 3 are sold or under contract in this economy. Just goes to show that Mantas are well respected and popular boats. Good Luck BOB

Re: Brouadblue

I saw a great Manta last week in Florida. She was located In Regatta Point Marina outside of Sarasota and offered by Massey Yachts. She looked to be in to be in great shape. In fact my husband kept ogling her...I was worried that he was not happy with our Privilege! I could get you more info if you can't find her on one of the search engines.

Good Luck
