Hey I’m looking at buying a Via 42 model and was wondering can anyone give me some information with regard to quality and sailing characteristics. The boat was build in France some 40years ago, I’m hearing rumours of there being problems with the lead ballast causing metal corrosion electrolysis.

Any information / experience with aluminium via’s would be good thanks.
