Hi Everyone,
Looking to purchase a sailboat in New York but have to get it back up to Lake Ontario. Can I get it here through waterways and if so, which ones? Or, do I have to take it out on the Atlantic and bring it back in? Also wondering how long that would take approximately if I had to take time off work.
Transport by land is another option but wondering if it's worth it as I hear it can get quite expensive and my funds are limited already.
Any advise is very helpful - thanks in advance.

Important: Mast down, on deck. Several places to help you with un-stepping and stepping the mast. It's a motorboat ride thru the NY Canal System, but actually pretty nice. We are coming this way, in summer.
