Shipping quotes. Across America or Across the USA

Hello,

I'm considering purchase of a 40' aluminum boat in Panama. Due to working life I am considering transport of the boat by truck.

The intended destination is Puget Sound, Washington.

I don't think there is an option to ship it up the Pan-american highway from Panama (But if this is possible, let me know)

Then I'm considering sailing to Mexico, Florida, or California and having it trucked the rest of the way. Then I'd like to compare costs between shipping ports. How can I get a list of providers or quotes for each port so I can do a comparison to consider this option?

Thank you so kindly. I will enquire regarding a quote. I should probably also check and see how the price changes if the source port is a few thousand miles North in Mexico or California. I'm expecting it's something I can't afford but thought I'd make an enquiry regardless...

I wouldn't too be surprised if I couldn't afford it. But my father shipped our Morgan 40 from Florida to Washington State at the end of the 90s. He wasn't a millionaire...

I think this will be much more expensive. Then I'm looking for a truck to haul the boat from either Mexico or California.

I paid $900.00 to ship a 29 footer from Santa Ana, Ca. to Connecticut in 1978. That was real money back then, but worth every penny.

I shipped a 36’ sailboat from LaPaz Mexico to Nanaimo BC in 2019 with SevenStar as deck cargo on a ship. About $10k.

I wonder what my old man paid to ship his boat from Florida in the late 90s. Maybe if I really dig through the family paper trail I might find out. But it would be of historical value. I am expecting the costs have changed in ~23 years.
