S2 boats generally have a good reputation. You might want to do a search on the forum as they have often been discussed.

Balsa cored hulls, many balsa rot problems .... just google it.

I would stay away from S2 boats, lots of bad things written on them, lots of core problems... generally low quality boats ( or at least that's the reputation they have )
