July 1-22, from Peloponnese to Sporades

Bavaria 36, skipper 65 looking for friendly 1 or 2 pers crew to slowly sail from Peloponnese to Sporades.

No smoking, no racing, no night sailing... .

Swimming, reading, slowcooking and visiting along the way.
I speak English, French, Polish or Italian.

No route set yet but the initial idea was to go thru Chalcis in order to avoid Meltemi.

25 Eu/day contribution for food and gas is expected.

Looking forward to hearing from you...
Piotr

Re: June 1-22, from Peloponnese to Sporades

Clearly posting this after you’ve left is problematic

Re: July 1-22, from Peloponnese to Sporades

Important is the contribution for gas.
Do you want to export gas to other vessels and make some profit.
Or do you mean gas for gasoline-Diesel. Isn’t a Bavaria is a s/y? Just wait for the right wind.
????? Really expecting interests?

Re: July 1-22, from Peloponnese to Sporades

In France it isn't unusual to ask an amount between 10 and 30 EUR a daty. The same for oceancrossing . They have more people who are crazy about Sailing.

Take a look at the french cruisersforum.

https://stw.fr/fr/bourse/offres

Things are different on other parts of the world. That 's the way it is. That's why I love sailing.

Re: July 1-22, from Peloponnese to Sporades

Thank you Nepal for shining a light into the dark side of the world...
Just kidding...
In the matter of the fact I probably used a wrong word: "crew".

Often I sail this Bavaria 36 single-handed so technically I don't need the "crew", especialy when it comes to July bay to bay hopping in Greek islands...
But it is much nicer to share those trips with others, teach them some sailing, learn something form them and watch the sunsets with a glass of excelent greek wine while we all share the costs of moorings, marinas, food, Greek monthly navigation permits and water (yes !), petrol etc etc.

Some sites differentiate between Paid crew, unpaid crew and contributing crew members... maybe "expences sharing guests" would be better?
So long

You mean , get people to subsidise your hobby. Go for it.

Contributing towards food is one thing if you are expected to “ work “ then the quid pro quo is the ship feeds you.

Secondly sharing fuel and moorings is fine if its friends all deciding where they wish to go and how long to stay. But if you call all these shots then it’s your voyage and you pay. You’ll pay the diesel and the Tepkai irrespective of single handing or 10 on board

Of course the “ crew “ could charge you for their company since clearly you’re “ billy no-mates “

Food contributions are fine as long as they are actual day to day expenses actually incurred. Everything is you scamming people or engaging in effect “ black chartering “

I should point out under Greek law what you are doing is “ charter “ and it’s illegal.
