Crew Available: Available now in Yucatán

Hello all,

I am a 31 yo teacher from Ireland currently taking a sabbatical to gain more sailing experience. I am now in Yucatán looking to join a boat and I'd be happy to travel to neighbouring countries to join one as well.

Since I left my last job in June, I have completed a 1500 NM trip to Iceland via the Faeroe islands and western Hebrides. Most recently, I completed a 6000 NM trip from Plymouth to La Linea to Lanzarote to Cape Verde where we then crossed the Atlantic to Grenada. I have experience with all you would expect from going on these journeys and I am keen to learn more.

I have my RYA Dayskipper, VHF license, and the RYA YM theory courses completed.

I am a relaxed and easy going person and I get along well with all types of people. I am quite practical and I enjoy woodwork and metalwork as hobbies. I am happy to help out with whatever needs doing onboard. I can speak Spanish fairly well and it's less rusty day by day. I'm fairly active as well; I enjoy swimming, snorkeling, diving, hiking, caving etc.

How about Isla Mujeres to Key West with a return air ticket provided at no charge to you? We have lots of United Airlines miles. Next week when this norther shuts down.
