Have done San Diego to Cabo 5 times. Have seen 10-12 many times. Last year we had winds in the low 30's for part of the trip. Watch the weather. We had a hurricane come thru in 14. In November. Connect with other boats via vhf and at anchorages. You will do fine on the bash as long as you are patient. Give yourself a generous 3 weeks. Bon voyage.
