Leaving Panama for french Polynesia...

Hi,

Seriously considering leaving Panama for French Polynesia. I understand French Polynesia is technically closed for inbound sailors but wanted to check if anyone tried/been there recently. Would love to hear your experience (in which island did you clear customs?, did you get approval before leaving? How long could you stay, which passport do you have?...)

I would suggest you join the FP cruiser facebook page as you will get the most current info. Currently FP has exploded with the delta covid variant and many of the islands are in lockdown.

Approval is 100% required by DPAM before departing for FP.
