Trailer Sailors in Matagorda Bay, Texas area - Tips?

Hi, we're trailer sailors and are finally wanting to try putting our boat in the bay for a few days. However, we are unfamiliar with the area and are unsure where we can put in that we can leave our truck and trailer parked for 2 or 3 days. Any suggestions?

Magnolia Beach has been a pretty safe place to leave a trailer for a few days.
I also Like Port O'connor and Palacios.

Further South, I like to leave the trailer at Port Aransas. There is plenty of parking, a nice marina and great sailing.

Just read up on that place. It sounds perfect for our needs. Thank you!

Magnolia Beach was great. We loved it for our first time out. The newly dredged ramp and dock were wonderful for loading in and out. Sailed around the bay watching the dolphins play around our boat. Motored down to Army Hole. It was awesome. Can't wait to check out Port Aransas. Thank you so much for your advice. Happy Sailing!
