Hi. Our sailrite could use a general service but we are soon on our way to the Bahamas so we'd rather not spend the time to send it back to sailrite. Does anyone know or have any experience with someone in south/central Florida that provides this service. Thanks.
In general Sailrite encourages self maintenance. I know they have dvd's that go step by step through everything from timing, needle strikes, and general maintenance. They are very easy to follow. You might want to see if they have the instructions on youtube for a free download, or buy the DVD and do it yourself. They provide pretty good service by phone too. Are you having a specific problem?
