Replacement glass for Weems & Plath MINI Lantern

Hi all,
I have a Weems and Plath Mini Lantern, not the 10" one but the mini, that needs a new glass. Weems and Plath no longer makes or sells it, and all the online chandlerys are out of stock. Does anyone know where I might find one? It is Weems & Plath part 792.
If not, I'll have to buy 2 meters of tubing and cut it up, and then the question would be, does anyone want one?

Call a local glass shop, glass is not exclusive to the marine industry. The marine industry just buys their glass from a supply house like everyone else. A decent local glass shop will have the industrial supply catalogs to find exactly what you need if they don’t already have it in stock.

Ha! That is indeed an excellent idea, when I Google glass shops, I got

-Window and Auto glass
-Artist glass shops
-Glass bongs for "medical" Marijuana. Very popular places now that PA is a medical Marijuana state. Did you know you can have custom glass bongs made?

Seriously, you are absolutely correct, I can get 2 meters of tubing. I suppose I could have them cut it too, but I can easily do that myself. It's just a straight tube, no fancy bell shapes. I was looking for the lazy way out first.

Check with the chemistry department of a nearby university. Once-upon-a-time they all had a glass department to make all kinds of equipment. Might still exist or have a good handle on where to go.

I finally got some tubing and made my own. The smallest amount of glass I could get was 8ft, so I might make a bunch and sell them on eBay.
