Northeast coast of Florida - cell coverage qustion.

Just wondering if off shore a few miles from Daytona Beach to St. Augustine how far out in the ocean before you lose cell phone coverage.

I am thinking I would try cell phone (If capable) 1st, then locating bacon if needed.

I have AT&T and have had cell service as far as 10 miles out in the Atlantic.

Should have mentioned I have Verizon. I know I have a very strong single going up and down I95.

But I have never seen a cell tower east of the ICW. I would expect Verizon to be close to as good as AT&T.
