New Cruiser Help - Timing A Trip Through the Carib To Seattle

I am hoping to get some input on what reasonable sailing time is for a journey I am planning and what the best timing windows would be.

We will be setting out from Toledo Ohio and heading for the Carib. Our intentions are to sail south through the islands, hit the north coast of South America, pass through the canal and head for Seattle.

We are somewhat on a mission and somewhat on a journey. Seattle is going to be our new home and we are in our late 20's early 30's. I realize this is a loaded question, so I guess the best thing to ask would be for a break out of estimated times for our four legs if you were sailing full time. Say 10 hours a day. We can figure out our leisure time from there.

1. Intercostal from Ohio to Mobile AL via the tombigbee
2. Mobile, through the islands all the way down to Trinidad
3. Trinidad to the Canal along the north coast
4. The canal to Seattle (what ever route you suggest)

I know we have a window with hurricane season, and I would like to do this in one continuous run. It would be nice to know if this is feasible and how much fun we can have along the way. Also, if there are any resources to get pointed to for this sort of stuff, I'm happy to do my own leg work.
