No it doesn't.
It just shows 'TUSKA' in larger font, with 'SYDNEY' next to it in smaller print.
This indicates boat name and home port.

It ties in with NSW registration. For AMSA registration the name needs to be printed at the bow, which it isn't.

Ok I stand corrected, thanks for pointing out the obvious. Moving along I have to admit I tend to try and pretend I'm not going blind, when I now own several pairs of expensive glasses .HA HA

My request acting on behalf of Jan Murray has not changed can anyone traveling or cruising NSW OR Queensland please keep an eye out for this vessel. Cheers Tom
Well that will explain why the home port is Hobart and isn't yet on the general register

As others have noted, the name is simply Tuska.

Isn't doesn't fully explain why the vessel is missing and where Michel is but I will wait patiently until some CF member spots the boat and then maybe Jan will spill the beans

Any reason the boat is expected to only be in Qld / NSW?

Maybe Michel will join CF and we can get a really multisided story brewing up

If the Tuska were sold legally, she will probably not have had her appearance altered much. However, in case it was not, then those looking for her should expect her appearance to have changed. Some thoughts that occurred to me: new hull paint, so a different color; weather cloths removed and stowed; name painted out on boom gallows, etc., so that seekers should memorize her shape and look for that silhouette first of all. ...There are so many "white boats."

I believe the OP said that the owner had learned that the boat had been sold in Southern QLD?

Re: Missing Lyle Hess Cutter

Thanks for your question, but unfortunately the answer is no. Jan is as we speak is dealing with AMSA bureaucracy and I would not hold my breath on a speedy resolution. I appreciate all the great feedback ,and eyes out there ,but have been racking my brain on how to continue this search. My Laptop battery packing it in the last two days has not helped either. Anny help suggestions or hints by someone experienced in missing boat recovery would be appreciated. Cheers Tom
