Going south from Bruce Peninsula to port Huron

We are looking for advise on getting to Port Huron from North channel. Does not look to be much anchoring prospects. We travel with our four legged friends and like to do 50 to 60 miles a day. Lake Erie is another area to get info on. After spending the summer in North Channel we got spoiled with the ease of finding good anchorages Not leaving North Channel for two weeks and getting our plans for the trip to the ICW. Just joined the Form and find that all are very helpfull:

Are you travelling the US or CND side? I can offer some ideas for the Canada side. In general there aren't many good spots, but we did travel these waters and managed a few good anchorages.

We will probably do the South side for shore cover with predominantly South winds. If the Noth side offers good prospect we can go that route. Thanks Tom G
