Cruise Prep Small Budget #2

Hello CF sailors, I just uploaded the 2nd Vid in my series.

We did indeed buy the Endeavour, she was $14,162 with Tax and Registration. So far we have spent another $1000 give or take, and that includes the Survey which was $480.

I'll give a detailed breakdown of everything after we get out of the Yard. In addition to the rudder repair we are going to have them do a couple of other things that we just ran out of time and energy for. That will include both a full service on the Yanmar and replacing a bad ball valve on the head sink drain.

Both are jobs I would do if I'd just had more time. It's a 2 hour round trip and that added up to more than I realized. And it seemed every time I got to the boat I had left something I wanted/needed at home. Not to mention at my age I don't work as long as I used to either. Sadly !

I think (Hope ? ) that we will end up about 10% over the initial budget, which was 16K. Which we were not unprepared for, so no unhappy surprise there !
