Cordage

Just wondering if anyone has a great secret resourse to purchase new rigging, Halyards and such. Yale/New England/etc. I have a 74 ft stick and need to replace all of the halyards, so buyting a full spool is not a problem. 5/8 diameter needed. Thanks.

Re: Cordage

I would think that 13 mm/ 1/2 inch spectra core would be quite adequate for your halyards. You should perhaps check the strengths vs your loads.

We recently downsized from 13 mm to 10 mm (both spectra core) for the main halyard. Sixty-six foot mast, 600+ sq ft main. Works fine, much less friction, no stretch issues noted.

Cheers,

Jim

I'd love the opportunity to quote you on a spool of Samson. Just let me know what you need. You can email me through my website.
