Re: Planning a route - Fort Myers to Miami

there are two routes from Fort Myers to Miami.

If you follow the circle completely, you can go from Fort Myers to Miami and around the circle back to Fort Myers.

The circle is generally referred to as the little loop and it travels completely around the southern tip of Florida

I have a sketch from the last time I did a little loop:

contact me if I could be of any help in plate of your route.

If the time works out, I’d be happy to go along for the ride if you cover my transportation

We need to fuel at Marathon for sure. We will get 2 hours docking skills tomorrow on monday and will travel on tuesday. Boat got joystick.

That is EXACTLY what I would recommend for the first day, particularly if you need internet in the evening.

Marinas good for overnight and refueling point as well.

Re: Planning a route - Fort Myers to Miami

Ok guys. :-) we made this trip. :-) started yestertday 8 am from fort myers and parked at 11 pm in miami. Everything was fine exept that we had to go 2 hours in complete darknes in atlantic ocean using only naviotics and radar going around bouys in starting stormy weather. That was complete super cool nighmare experience. I will never go in the ocean in darkens again!!! boat is parked and we will take it for pleasure drive today. Great huge experience. Many points on what can you do and what you cant do with the boat and navigation. Lifetime experience. I can do it easily next time but preferably in day time :-)
