Favorite Caribbean/Bahama Island?

Did the Windwards and Leewards and they were pretty and nice enough but now that we are in the Western Caribbean I really prefer it much more. Very little culture in the Eastern side except maybe the French islands if thats your thing. Its hard to pick a favorite spot, they are all pretty nice compared to the office. Weve sailed the North and South Pacific and Mediterranean as well and our experiences are the same there...all nice places for the most part depending on your mood. The prettiest island in the world in my opinion is Moorea.

I think it would be more enlightening too break the responses down too .Cruisers with deep pockets, cruisers on a budget, and those working while sailing. I think I can see the difference so far with the response.

Saba - a delightful spot, very civilized and relaxed. Not many tourists to deal with.

They are all great for different reasons. It depends what you are looking for. Although I second western Caribbean. Panama was our favorite so far out of 7000miles

Perhaps we're spoiled by other island chains we've visited but, frankly, we didn't find anything in the Caribbean that we found compelling enough to warrant a return visit.
