Chances to find a boat from Canaries to Carribean in April-May ?

Hello everybody,

I'm a french young man of 23 seeking to reach Chicago before the end of the summer.

I don't have much experience yet, but trying to find informations, it seemed to me that most boats crossing the Atlantic to the West were to do it from october to january.

Though, I've seen a couple of people preparing such journeys, willing to leave in march or april...

Do you think if I get to the Canaries, I will be able to find a boat leaving in April or May, even June, towards the Carribean ?

you might be lucky and get a delivery,but most cruising yachts will have left by now.

try looking at Yacht crew agency, yacht crew vacancy, sailing crew from Crewseekers
