Biodiesel in Norway

I've just read in the Norwegian Cruising Guide (by the Morgan's Cloud people) that all marine diesel sold in Norway from October last year will have a high percentage of that awful FAME stuff which will eat up rubber parts of older diesel engines.

Is this true? Anyone have any concrete information?
