Want To Buy: S2 9.2A

Hello,



I am in search of an S2 9.2A
Preferably at minimum floats and sails but, ideally good condition. I'm on a budget of $9,000 but would hope for something closer to $4-5,000
The engine does not need to be running, as I will convert it into an electric motor (I'm also hoping this brings the price further down also why I'm looking for not my full budget).


Location isn't an issue as I will travel to any boat with potential. Need pictures, description, and a list of specifications/equipment.

There is a free one sitting next to the railroad tracks in Fernandina Beach Fl.
It’s actually across the river from Amelia Island but there is only one railroad bridge. I’m pretty sure it just floated up there and I guess not much hull damage. No mast on it, but that’s only a grand. Florida Environmental police would probably be happy to see it go...they don’t have a lot of money to remove wrecks. Maybe the railroad guys could help.
They are solid boats. Worth a few calls.

It’s on the north side of the railroad tracks. The boat went up on a hurricane so it’s going to be a project ...it’s not just on the edge of the water.
You can see it from the right hand lane just past the midpoint of the car bridge if you are going off the island. Maybe somebody who lives in Fernandina could take some photos. Good luck.

I can see it. It’s about the length of the marina west of the end of the marina right next to the tracks .
You never see manatees wearing reading glasses.LOL
