1986 O'Day 31 - most projects done!

Port Washington, NY - $13,995 - two boat owner :-)

What's new:
New rudder, converted to tiller steering (wheel steering will convey for those who prefer that sort of thing). All lines within reach for single handed work.
New main sheet system, self tailing Lewmar 30, blocks and mainsheet.
New electronics: A77 GPS/plotter linked to depth sounder, A2000 tiller pilot (to be installed and linked to plotter)
New 115% genoa, Precision sails, CDX laminate (radial), triradial cruising spinnaker with hand-me-down North sails sock (a bit tight).
New PEX piping to replace all freshwater lines and a new galley faucet
New head hose between all components, including dual vent lines (no stink).

Equipment not listed above:
Main is in great shape, has MackPack which makes this an easy boat to single hand or sail with inexperienced crew. Dodger, bimini, connector, all side curtains with isen glass and screens.

Mast and rigging inspected last fall - replaced main, jib and spin halyards, VHF antenna wiring, LED bulb for anchor light. Seafurl RF for headsail in good shape, replaced furling line the year before.

Universal 5418 diesel - unknown hours, regular oil changes, plenty of spares, heat exchanger is fine but shows a little corrosion around the ends (I bought a spare just in case, not installed, conveys with sale).

She was a dock queen for most of her life, so has 110v fridge and microwave oven, 110V and engine heated HW. The alcohol stove was removed by prior owner, who replaced with a storage locker (I keep my camping stove in it). Interior is in nice shape with nearly new looking cushions, teak and glass also in great shape. Good sized rail mount propane BBQ grill.

Bottom is in good shape, about 50% down to gelcoat and barrier coated, the more stubborn layers are not very thick and fair nicely into the new. The topsides shine, very few dings or gelcoat crazing on deck, which is dry inside. Last survey 10/2014.

Good ground tackle - FX16 in the forward locker when day sailing/club racing, 25lb CQR for cruising, spare danforth. two 3-strand rodes, both 1/2" and about 150' of line with 6' chain - kind of light but OK for coastal waters here in the north east.

There's a spare GPS Map210 and a Standard Horizon VHF, both oldies but goodies!

More pics on e-bay listing.
