The author of Weather4D Ipad app has kindly made available this data (AROME HD) to the community in a much more convenient way
Index of /AromeHD
Limited to wind at sea level in grib 1 format (0.01° step, hourly for 4 days, updated 4 times a day) and broken down into
North Sea
Manche (= Channel)
(Gulf of) Lion (French Med, from Spain to Italy)
Corse (= Corsica)
(Spanish) Baleares
Atlantique (from S Ireland to Spanish Galicia)

Do you know by any chance how to use the downloaded data from shom?

I tried with zygrib and it returns an error. I will try wit OpenCPN now.

Is the App free? I am an Android guy, will see if Google Play has it in store.
