Cruising ICW Pensacola to Panama City

Hope that squall line didn't beat you up too bad. Your best and only bet for fuel around here is St Andrews Marina. On your fwd port side (2 or so miles) after you make the turn to the East below (South) of Hathaway Bridge.

We are still pretty beat up around here from Hurricane Michael so AFAIK that is the only functional marina.

Fuel is available in Apalachicola if you can make it that far.

Assuming you are staying inside the shoreline scenery is about to change. No more pretty sand beaches but swamp with eagles, gators, and snakes. Pretty in its own special way.

A bit out of the way to the south of the GICW in St. Andrews Bay is Grand Lagoon and a couple of places to get fuel. Treasure Island Marina is one of them where they advertise 24 hour fuel. I recently dieseled up and pumped out there (during normal hours). Grand Lagoon is just north of St. Andrews State Park, a great place along the gulf coast. Anchoring just east of St. Andrews Marina gives good access to what Panama City has to offer.

Lots of neat bayous to anchor in the area; my favorite is Pearl Bayou just south of Dupont Bridge (GICW route to Apalachicola).
