Xantrex Prowatt SW 2000 Inverter

A while back I posted a question looking for information on two inverters - the Xantrex Prowatt SW 2000 and the Samlex SSW-2000-12A. I didn't get much information on the Samlex and ended up buying the Samlex which works well, but makes a heck of a lot of noise (I'll be posting more on that in another post).

So my question now is how loud and when does the cooling fan run on the Xantrex Prowatt SW 2000 inverter? (I'd really like to keep the boat quiet unless heavy loads are running off the inverter (which was the case for our old MSW inverter)

I can't speak for the 2000 watt inverter. However I installed a 1000 watt Zantrex sine wave inverter. Worked well now for 15 years and I haven't noticed the fan.
