Re: Outback Inverters

Outback makes good equipment including inverters, solar controllers, etc. Good tech support and the only company to make a 32v inverter charger for you Hatteras and Chris Craft owners! They have a fairly comprehensive website Outback Power Inc. - Home

I'm in the solar business. Outback is regarded as the best in the business by the trade. My own house runs on an 8KW Radian, and my workshop on a 3.5KW FXR unit. I have had a lot of dealings with Outback on warranty and firmware issues, and they are generally very responsive. Their new products coming on the market are going to be game changers. You can't do better.

Re: Outback Inverters

This summer I added another 1000 watts of solar on my catamaran and installed an Outback Power Flexmax 80 and we are very happy with it. Especially like that it stores over a month of charge data and I can scroll back and view each day's output.

Re: Outback Inverters

Wow everyone thanks for the responses! Sounds like good news. Most of what I could find was home based stuff and not marine application.
