I think the risk of leaving the
boat plugged in, out way the risk of not. SO many
boats sink at the
dock. It is actually surprising to see some of the numbers. If you have
water ingress while docked and unattended, you at least have a chance of your
bilge pumps handling it without dying from draining the
batteries.
Oh yeah, most
battery life is determined by the number of cycles. Minimizing this number helps prolong life, or in this case determines life.
