Crew Wanted: Ontario to Florida and Beyond May 2015

Retired and recently converted from sail to trawler, I need one or two crew to fill out crew for all or part of a slow trip beginning in May from Ontario to Fort Myers via the canals and AICW. The pace will slow enough to enjoy our surroundings, so I expect the duration to be around six months. From Ft Myers the trip will continue to Isla Mujeres, Belize, and Guatemala, and in 2016 to Panama and Colombia.
If interested, I'll send details of the boat, the trip, my experience and my expectations.

Hi Ontno1, I am currently cycling around the world for charity. I have completed 40,000 kms taking me through Europe, Asia and Australiasia. In 2007/08 I sailed across Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. I have my Day Skipper's licence. Unfortunately I haved not sailed properly for about 3 years so a little rusty but would be very keen to join your crew. I am flexible with dates. I landed in HAwai yesterday and will be heading to San Franscisco next week to start cycling through USA so can head in any direction including Ontario to reach you boat for departure. I may be able to help for a few weeks. I do software consulting when I'm not on a boat so my schedule is pretty much up to me (and my wife )....

I am a Licensed, drug tested, professional sailor with references. I have a USCG Master 100 ton Near Coastal license with sail and towing endorsements. I also have my STCW 95 BST, Basic and Advanced Marine Fire Fighting and Radar Observer Unlimited certificates. I am a United States citizen and have a USA passport. I am self employed and my schedule is flexible.
