I'm in Guam and Need a Start

Hi all, I need experience on sail boats, anything. If you pull into Guam and need the decks scrubbed, I'm your man. You need some groceries, ok, i'll get 'em. Any thing I can do to get around boats. Scrub the deck doesn't seem like much, but when the next guy asks what I've done at least I can say that. I'd love to crew up on a sail boat, if you want to trade knowledge for work I'd be down for that too.
I've been traveling for two years now and landed on Guam, before that I was a mechanic in the navy for 6, so I'm not completely dumb about the ocean, rescue procedures and I got first class swim qualified while I was in too.
Thanks for reading, any comments are appreciated, if it's rude, at least make it funny!

Re: I'm in Guam and Need a Start

I lived at Orote Point for a couple of years, on "Big Navy." Nice stern-to marina at Clipper Landing, where the old Pan Am sea planes used to land and taxi in. I have great memories of Guam. Go to the end of Orote Point (if you can get on the navy base) for the most amazing cliff views ever, better than the touristy "2 lovers point," and no tourists.
