From Mystic, CT Towards Florida

Hi, I am a 57 year old Korean man who is trying to sail back towards Korea on a 1976 Alajuela 38 that I bought and refit partially at Mystics.

I had two crew joining from Korea, but it did not work out as expected.
So, I am trying rather too hastely to get one or two crews to sail down South like Florida or Carribean island to somewhere warm so that I finish refiting for off shore sailing.
I want to leave here around next week starting Nov. 15th whether permitting following Eastern coast.
I would want a somewhat experienced sailor/boater who preferably knows/crewed easern coast.
Crew will pay for his eating/provision and his travel and I will pay the rest.

Radar is scheduled to installed this week and wind sensor kit as well.
No autopilot connected, and windvane will be hooked up this week as well.
It is a cutter and have a newly bought asymmetric spinaker which I am not comfortable to use now.
No dodger or bimini either, so it will be cold a while.
Have PLB, SPOT, VHF, AIS, liferaft(6 person), dinghy with honda motor, manual windlass, etc.

Please let me know thru email or phone.

I hope to correspond and interview possibly if you are near by before we decide.

I am hoping to travel with one or two who can share the duties with me learning from each other and of the boat and sailing.

Have you left yet and/or are you still looking for crew? Are you planning on going inside or out? You can e-mail me at mattweaverscs :at: gmail :dot: com or I can give you a call this week.

Thanks
Matt
