We, Julie & George, are experienced sailors who will be traveling from the U.S. to Australia to visit family in Sydney. We wish to join a boat for a few late-season legs, not just as ride-along passengers but as able and willing crew. We envision committing about 8 weeks aboard and are available from September 2012 through the end of the cruising season. We will consider any itinerary in the area. We offer our innovativeness, resourcefulness, and healthy cooking as major pluses!

George, 44, is a carpenter by trade and a sailor by nature; he’s been sailing for 30 years, including a previous bluewater voyage from Bora Bora to New Zealand. Julie, 36, is a writer, editor, and poet. She has been sailing for 3 years and is on the water 2-3 days a week throughout the sailing season, learning her way around a variety of boats both cruising and racing.
