Crew Available: Competent crew available

Hello,

I am looking to crew on a longer passage in the coming autumn. I am 24 years old and have sailed dinghies since the age of 10, and started sailing larger boat (up to 12 m) two years ago and have about 200 miles of experience as skipper. I have crewed on several passages and am familiar with the routine and with night watches. As recently as March 2014 I have also competed in the European championships in Dragon class as bowman/trimmer.

I have completed the inshore diploma (förarintyg in Swedish) and the VHF certificate.

I'm extremely easy-going, tidy and a non-smoker. Originally from Finland, but have lived in elsewhere my entire life. I speak Finnish, Swedish, Danish, Spanish and English with proficiency and also fairly good German. I enjoy reading, films, (of course) sailing and just plain ol' conversation! I also enjoy cooking, which could come in handy on a sailboat.

My dream is to one day (hopefully soon) to be able to skipper my own around the world.
