For Sale: Volvo Penta MD6A for sale? free?

I got one of these 1970's Volvo marine diesel complete motors with trans and all accessories from the throttle cables to the brass prop, even original shop manuals. Previous owner says it worked, but I couldn't get it going and when I saw what replacement parts are running I figured it wasn't worth it to throw more money at it. I was going to take it to the scrap yard, but figured some one might be interested in parts or the whole thing. I did invest some $$ in servicing the injectors and such. They at least work like new.

If anyone is interested, the motor is located in SLC Utah area. I am moving to Galveston, Tx soon and could bring it with for a price. Maybe I could even make a little $ for it. I Know I would have never ripped it out if I could have found a deal like for the parts needed.

Do you still have the MD6A available? I live in Covington, LA and make it over to Galveston once in a while.

Been in transit. In Galveston now but no motor, scrapped it before I left. Sorry, wish you would have got me sooner.
