Small sailboat

I know this is a very long shot but here goes:

Last year I came across a Macwester 26 for free but didnt have the time (nor funds) to make her seaworthy so I gave it to someone on here - if you search you will see the full story about the refit (and the pics)

Now I have the time and have been saving as much as I can for a new boat but still nowhere near the amount required to pick up a 2nd (or even 5th) hand boat.

One complaint that my wife has is my knowledge of engines and boats in general and so I am here asking Karma if she is willing to help me out

I am looking for a small-ish sailboat (about 20 foot would be perfect) that I could strip down and refit her in my own time, once refitted, I can then improve my sailing skills around my local marina (Liverpool, UK) Once I am in a place to find a bigger sailboat to liveaboard, I plan on spreading the generosity by passing the 20 foot boat onto someone who is in a similar position to the one that I am currently in now.

As I will be spending a lot of money refitting her, I was hoping that someone here has an old 20 footer that they no longer have a use for. As I said, I know its a long shot but you never know

Hope you find something! I've enjoyed following atolls rebuild of the Macwester 26, would love to see you do the same!
