Coastal Commander 6 person, purchased April 2012 for two trips North. Stored in climate controlled unit since. The ONLY principal difference between Coastal and Offshore models is addition of strobe light on canopy and inflatable cushion floor for cold waters. Construction/specs same for BOTH units. Although inspections are called for every 3 years, there is really nothing in the equipment pack that needs renewing except out of date flares. The "bottle" required service is 5 years for this vacum packed raft so can reasonably go to April 2017 before inspection. Basic inspection in South Florida is 325/395 plus bottle of 125.
