Looking for either a 12 or 220V Hookah system.
2 diver capability preferred and will consider a DYI solution

If you are interested in a 12v DYI solution, here is one. The compressor is a Puma PD1006 ($300), use a Dixon MF200 in line 5 micron filter($40), use any 1/4" food grade hose, and a hookah regulator (check Amazon and search 'hookah regulator ($60 and up). The system will cost a total of about $450, plus a 12v battery. Use at least a G27 size, with G31 offering more time. The system will easily do one diver, don't know about 2.

Hookahmax uses a "similar" looking compressor and makes a big deal about not being a Puma tool copy?

I wonder what the difference is?

I don't know what the difference, if any is. What is different is the price. The Puma compressor works well.

I thought that any oilless compressor could be used? Harbor Freight has some oilless ones for little money

Hookamax uses cheap, Chinese-made POS compressors in all of their hookahs, any of which can be bought at Home Depot or found online.

BTW to the OP- I don't believe I have ever come across a 220-volt hookah.

Gator Gill is the same blue as Puma?

Are there any all in one solutions like a shop compressor style that are not a Chinese POS?

If you have 110v the Bostich CAP 1512 is very high capacity and small. Not sure where it is made, but its a very durable compressor that can handle two divers.
