I'm looking for charts for New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, and Louisiades.

Would also like to buy the C-map electronic chart in the SD card format for the same areas.

Hi there,

I have been cruising Vanuatu and New Cal for 6 years (2006-2011) and can only recommend the 2 Rocket Guides CDs . They include all the satellite charts, waypoints and local info. With these 2 guides on CD you almost need nothing else. Beware of the old (first) version of the Vanuatu guide that has been pirated and contains several mistakes (that version is called Tusker Guide) ... you want to get the latest version of the Rocket Guide. Google Rocket Guide Vanuatu and you will find Richard guides for sale either by download or physical CD in the mail. Richard is a great guy and will get you the latest updated version!
I wish they were more cruising guides like these 2 guides! Amazing!

I did not cruise Solomons and PNG, we decided to sail from Vanuatu to the Marshall Islands and this WE we plan to sail to FSM, then Palau

Thanks for that. i do have a copy of the old Tusker guide, but was planning to update.

Yes, good to upgrade because the new versions are sooo much better than that original Tusker (who was already quite impressive but lacked many anchorages details and had some errors ... now all corrected and updated

Enjoy Vanuatu ... stay as long as you can because almost every cruiser whishes he had allowed more time to explore the area!
