70mm 17" 3 Blade Classic Max-Prop 1-1/4 shaft

Excellent condition 70mm 17" classic 3 blade max-prop for a 1-1/4" diameter shaft. Includes a new style universal zinc, an old style 3 hole zinc, all screws, spare screws, zerc grease fittings, hex wrenches and a bunch of cotter keys.

This prop requires the shaft threads to be cut off a bit. The video on this page explains the installation very well.

PDF manuals can be found on the same page.

This prop has the new style shaft nut that does not require drilling through the nut and the shaft. It uses two pins shown in the last photo below to lock the nut.

The top blade in the first photo has a few very shallow small dings from the boat's PO. There are a few other small dings on the body as would be expected on a used prop.

$1600 or best offer plus shipping to lower 48 states only.

I'm in Jacksonville, Florida til July 1 and maybe a few weeks later. PM, jc@irbs.com, or John at 954-494-5989.

No lecture needed about email addresses. Goggle shows 100,000 hits for my address. But I have very good spam protection.

Re: 70mm 17" 3 Blade Classic Max-Prop 1-1/4 shaft

Still available. I'm in the Savannah area for another week.

I was asked why the shaft had to be cut. This video shows what is required and why.

I have also been asked "What is a Max-Prop?". Its an automatic feathering prop that can be installed left or right had rotation and installed at you choice of pitch.
